Our pawesome sea otter aquarists are always creating fun enrichments for our resident otters, including freezing food in ice “otter pops,” redecorating their exhibit with new spaces to explore, and making little puzzles for them to solve like this dog toy stuffed with some of their favorite snacks! These enrichments keep our clever girls’ minds engaged and tummies full (and helps to manage their mustelid mischievousness).
