Introducing Captiv8 Aquaculture

During last few videos with Chris Meckley, he’s mentioned a marine biologist friend and a company that allowed him to fine tune his system by raising the pH to using various hydroxides which made an ideal situation in his coral vats to improve the overall growth and health of his corals as well as many other helpful things that allowed him to run his systems more efficiently.

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet up with the mastermind behind ACI’s new method of keeping corals. Chris Wood of Captiv8 Aquaculture. Chris Wood… sounds very familiar right? For you guys that have been in the hobby for the last decade or so, this name should ring a bell. If you are still unsure, maybe Chris Brightwell will ring the bell. One of the original creator of Brightwell Aquatics, he has been out of the aquarium industry for many years.
