All 2019 tote proceeds will directly support our work in the Sea Turtle Care Center to rehabilitate sick and injured turtles – like Zazu. Zazu was found stranded on Caper’s Inlet early this year and admitted into the Sea Turtle Care Center. Just days after admit, Zazu defecated marine debris, or trash, including a piece of balloon, clear plastic sheets and grocery bag material. Zazu was the 23rd patient we’ve admitted who’s been affected by marine debris. After six months of care, Zazu was rehabilitated and released back to the ocean.
By swapping out plastic bags for reusable bags, you can do your part in eliminating marine debris and saving sea turtles, like Zazu!
Quantities of the sea turtle tote are limited, so don’t wait to collect yours and show your love and support for sea turtles! You can pick up your tote at the Aquarium admissions desk for $20, or call (843) 579-8540 for shipping. 100% of Sea Turtle Tote proceeds directly benefit the Sea Turtle Care Center.
