Time to polarize and shine! ☀️😎
Scientists have found that some cuttlefish not only see polarized light, but might also be able to display polarized light patterns on their skin! Flat surfaces around their eyes and tentacles can polarize light bouncing off of them, working like a covert bat signal to flash brightly but to only those who can see it. This extra visual realm might give them an arm up on some of their underwater competition!
