About a month ago, Aqua FX released their new product: Bluefin. What made this unit different from a traditional home unit is that this unit produces 500gpd of output instead of 200gpd max output of home filtration unit – and it doesn’t need a pump! For large aquariums or stores that use large volumes of water but not enough to justify the purchase of expensive commercial units that does 1000gpd + , this is a great compromise.
We did a quick live video with Aqua FX team when they came down to visit me in Afishionado land to show off the newest product in their arsenal of clean water goodness.
After this video was shot, it was installed in the Frost Museum of Science in Miami where it effectively replaced/upgraded the Aqua fx 200 gpd unit. (Video of that will come later)
