Dear Aquarium family,
Social justice is at the heart of environmental work—work that teaches us that speaking up is a key part of change. As an organization, we know we must and will do more to support a just and inclusive world.
Black lives matter.
Over the past few days, we’ve been grieving and reflecting, as individuals and as an organization, about how we must engage more deeply in anti-racist work. We know we have a long way to go.
We owe it to our communities and to our mission to inspire conservation of the ocean to do this work. A sustainable world cannot exist without justice for all people.
